Donating Children’s Books on Diversity and Inclusion to HMI
New York, NJ
Sean’s Legacy recently hosted a book drive to benefit Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI). HMI is an LGBT youth organization providing counseling services to people age 13 to 21 in northern New Jersey. A total of 35 books were donated during this fundraiser. A special thank you to Usborne Books, who helped us facilitate the drive. Many of the books purchased focused on the concepts of mental health, bullying, and the importance of inclusion – topics which are near and dear to us here at Sean’s Legacy! More information →
LGBTQ+ Allyship in the Workplace Training at Fingerpaint
La Jolla, CA
Two members of our leadership team, Hope Dehnert and Larissa Kmetz, conducted their first corporate ally training for marketing and advertising company Fingerpaint. the 60 minute training was offered to nearly 100 participants, and was highly regarded among attendees. Keeping Lindsey at UCLA
Los Angeles, CA
Sean’s Legacy participated in 2020 fundraiser for a University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) sophomore. Lindsey Trieu was at risk of being dismissed from the university due to medical disqualification from Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) causing her to lose her scholarship.
Vegan meals for single Moms
San Diego, CA
